I think one solution that would definitely work would be to make talented totems (ToW, MT) a different element, someone suggested this in another thread, make them Ether totems and you resolve this whole issue. Then theyould add a talented totem for Enhae and just keep them all deep enough in the trees that youan only get one.
Searing Totem was hardly used in instaes way bk when, bause it was uontrollable. It might attkC’d targets or the next group when you did not want to pull it yet. Magma Totem and Fire Nova Totem were both AoE, and therefore somewhat situational in the old WoW instaes. Frost Resistae Totem was very situational in instaes. Flametongue Totem was useless in instaes. So hooray for Totem of Wrath! Now shamansan use a fire totem every fight, bause this one simply gives a good buff! Well, timeshanged, and instaeshanged. And PvPhanged. And the fus of how strong the buff was inomparison to the damage was somewhat skewed. Now thehoe between buffing and damage annoys. There’s less organization. Bause we should be able to use totems in every fight, the real organization in my mind should be like sh: Fire Totems = Strtly Damage-Dealing. Water Totems = HealthMana Restoration, Dispels Earth Totems = Defensive Buffs, Defensive Utility Air Totems = Offensive Buffs, Offensive Utility (Or Earth = Only buffs, Air = Only utility; or Air = Only buffs, Earth = Only utility) However, that’s not theaseurrently. Shaman have Damage Dealing and Offensive Buffs in Fire. Shaman have Offensive and Defensive Buffs, and Utility in Earth. Shaman have Offensive Buffs and Utility in Air. If the totems all bome streamlined to their type and then renamed for their new appropriate element, I believe it would be a mh better situation. When done as sh, youould have a melee offensive buff and aaster offensive buff and a weaker hybrid offensive buff (like haste) on the Air Totem, and the same but Defensive on the Earth Totem, and so on. As far as totem prottion, I’d simply prefer to see all totems made mhheaper.

I just wish totems where not so limited, damage dealing totems should not reple our totem of wrath for instae, our earth bind should also be apart from the normal totem system. If weould toss these spif totems and not eat up our primary buff slots with totems, they would be more afftive and we would not feel o limited. Give shamans talents that irease the resistae to attks totems have, roughly how mostlasses have resistaes to dispels on their buffs. Something like a base of -5% to hit with melee, ranged, and spell attks on most totems (probably not Stonlaw or Grounding), and then talents that irease that. Totems aren’t mh different than buffs or debuffs, eept that everylassan “dispel” them. They should get roughly the same resistae to “dispel” as mag buffs.
There’s a simple solution that would solve so many problems for shamans at the moment. Deve a system similar to the DK system of runes. DK’s have 2 runes of eh type: 2 blood, 2 unholy, 2 frost. When they useertain abilities, runesanhange to DEATH runes (whh are universal, andount as all 3). Now how would you apply this to shamans you might ask? Well, shamans aren’t that mh different than DK’s. Wean lay down 4 totems: 1 earth, 1 water, 1 fire, 1 air. Why not give us an ability to turn one of our totem slots into a universal totem slot. This would allow: 1. Restoould use mana spring + mana tide (or mana spring + healing stream) 2. PvP! Stonlaw + Earthbind, Stonlaw + Tremor! That whole issue would be resolved (at least partly) 3. Elementalould use ToW + magma totems. This would allow shamans to use their totems that rarely make it out of the spell books. It would solve most of our totemonflts and give us a little more to do than lay down the same 4 totems over and over mindlessly.

and now that ihk bk, i forgot to tually put the on-top part of my thought in the ..lol I agree that those buffs look ne and will help the elem tree a bit, my only hope is that they dide to iludeL in that last bit about extra bonus spell dmg peent.

my only beef with the totem mhan is that for buff totems its just too many Ds. If they merge too many together the whole balae of buffstive totems go down the drain. Part of playing a good shaman is know when to swih out a totem to suit the situation better. Sure the totems are fragile andan be tab targetted and killed off but that takes time as well whh is quite a dision in itself. “Do I try to land another nuke on that shaman or swap target and use D to get rid of that earthbind totem?”

Well for starters you areombat and yet you wield a dagger in your main hand. Get a slow and hard hitting MH to boost those Sinister Strikes. And you have the wrong weapon sp. You must be also doing something horribly wrong sie with all theD’sombat has 4-5 mobs shouldn’t be that hard. For multimobs pop Evasion, Blade Flurry and Killing Spree and wah as they fall. I also find it hard to believe that you are dying so mh sie youan get away from 95% of bad situations with aloak + Vanish. For single mobs start from stealth with aS and then SS until fiveombo points and use KS. After KS wears the mob should be around somewhere 0-15% health. I preferred mutilate for leveling bause the mobs just BLOW UP even withrap gear. I had dinged 70 day before Wrath and still oblirated the mobs with ease. Going into WotlK my rogue was Hemo Mes sp with 2, S2 mes. (I hadn’t played him sie before 2.4) I spcedombat, found it horrible to level. So taking the adve of here got 2 daggers and levelled 70-80 and mutilate, would never turn bk.

Don’t go farther than 55 relentless in sub while leveling. The only reason aombat build should go deeper into sub is for serrated and that’s not a leveling talent. After 3.1 lightning reflexes will be worth getting as well. As for fighting mobs you want to use stuns; saps,heapshots, kidney shots, e. Our aoeooldowns are on a fairly low timer so use them every time they’re up, adrenaline, blade flurry, killing spree, e. Evasion is also ne when you have unfair advantage. Roguesombat is more about pking your battles andontrolling the fight.

I had no problems at levelling my rogue through WotLK. It’s all about using your skills properly. Sap one of the targets … attk another … blind another.. you should be able to take on 3 mobs at a time without hardly any impt on your health bar! and you deffo shouldn’t be dying … thats what vanish is for! I note yourombat … with killing spree, AR & blade flurry you should be able to drop 2 mobs without even breaking a sweat.
it does sound as if you’re trying to push too hard, too fast, and play the rogue the way you would a warrior–i.e., in your fe, hk and slash. You don’t have (and never will have) the kind of power gear that a warrior or hunter has, but you have subtlety, you have bk stabbing, sapping, poisons, and my favorite of all, the dirty trk whh will stun an opponent for enough time so that youan blind another, perhaps stun another (if you have engineering youan make really NEAT bombs). sometimes youan stealth your way to a target if you are prepared to die to gain your objtives. In a room with one guard, stun the guard, grab the quest objt, and Vanish. In a room with several guards, loot a few, wait until most of them are looking the other way, grab the quest objt, and vanish. Read the fine print later. Rogues have to be patient, have to wait until their quarry is alone or walking away from the rest of therowd. Learn howertain mobs behave. some will defend members, some will ignore the battle under their noses, orome in at the very end just to annoy you. I have a warrior, a rogue, a hunter, and a mage. Eh has its own style, but frankly the rogue is way more fun to play. And after all, what’s the hurry? There’s roses out there, take your time to smell ‘em,

Newbie Heros? No problem! In order of diffulty, easiest to hardest (in my opinion). 1 – Utgarde Keep 2 – Nexus 3 – Azjol Nerub 4 – Gun’Drak Oe you’reomfortable with these, youan move on to the tougher ones. The list that Tenjen ed is an iredible guide for starting on the long path of gearing.
Oe again many thanks for the help. I know that I have said before that it is appriated but it is meant. Saves me hours of wandering around aimlessly doing unfussed things!

Top says it all. I have been trying to level him again. He is my only alliae toon and I thought for ahange of pe i might lvl him up at least high enough to do wrathgate. Gear wise he has the lvl 70 pvp weapons (dagger and fist whh I know prob wasn’t the besthoe). Rest of his gear really seems like its goodonsidering the level. PRetty mh trying to level has been awful. If I take stuff solo every 2 or 3 kills I have to bandage from all the damage I take. IF I get 1 add I go down to about 25% health (assuming I was at full). If I get 3 I end up burning all myD’s, sometimes burning a hp potion, and even then I sometimes don’t make it. I have leveled a mage and a DK through WOTLK and never had any problems. Tank Spot and WoW Achievements have both been added to the official World of Warcraft fansite program. The fansite program is Blizzard’s way of recognizing sites they like, and really contains an excellent listing of places to get your WoW fix (besides WoW Insider, of course).
Tank Spot offers great community with forums, videos, and guides to virtually every aspect of tanking. The folks that frequent the site are quick to offer sound advice, and can often be seen on the official forums providing key discussion within the greater tanking community.
WoW Achievements is a relatively new site, and offers great information on all the achievements in-game and the players who earn them. One of the more interesting things on the site is a listing of the top players worldwide who’ve earned achievement points. If you’re curious, the top player right now is Beelsebub over on Azuremyst EU. He’s got 7630 achievement points, which is quite amazing.

So Blizzard’s slowly but surely been expanding our storage system via extra bank slots, a keychain, and most recently, a new UI for mounts and vanity pets. It’s become a lot easier to be a collector because of this, but as I have pointed out before, one major space problem remains: Tabards. Between Burning Crusade tabards, Wrath Reputation tabards, holiday tabards, world event tabards, TCG tabards, and achievement tabards, there’s not enough room, either in your inventory or in your bank. Sure, you can sell off the tabards and rebuy them later, but that’s sort of a pain.
Luckily, there’s finally signs that Blizzard means to bring us relief. Eyonix mentioned this morning that they’ve begun to look at possible ways to relieve the tabard space conundrum. It looks like the concept is still in the early stages, and Eyonix specifically said they have no ETA, but it may be coming, which is good news enough. I’m still advocating for a simple drop-down menu of tabards similar to the title dropdown on the character screen, or maybe a way to select a faction from the reputation screen to be your tabard of choice.
But however they do it, I’m looking forward to it. I enjoy flying various colors at various times for RP or fun reasons, so being able to switch swiftly should both make this easier and championing on the fly easier. Here’s hoping we get an ETA soon, and that it’s sooner rather than later.

(Ancients of War) First 2 wisps you getr when the game starts send them to gold , send 1 to scout for enemys base, and the last two , one builds a altar of elders , and the last one guys on wood. By the time you are done with the altar and you start your hero, your scout should of found your enemys base/bases. Pick the most likely enemy that is teching up, or pick a human,orc,or another night elf base, this doesnt work very good against a undead player. Build the AOW right out side of his base, once it is complete your hero should have been done been done , send the AOW in , the enemy should react by attacking it with everything, send in hero from other side and take out his defense from behind. Plus if u diddnt catch on uproot the tree to move it.^_^

Reader Richie mailed us a review of the Steelseries World of Warcraft mouse some time back, but it’s gotten to the point where his frustration made him put a post up on his own blog. Some of his major concerns involve the custom software remapping his keys, such as making his character jump when the pressesM to bring up the map ,he also claims that some of his buttons now stick,instead of springing back into place as they should after a few days of playing, he writes that hes contacted customer service several times and was told that it wasa known issue and was told to snaphis buttons.

So I respeced Saki last night to 10/28/0, more commonly known as a Prot AoE leveling spec. I know Dan plays a paladin, and I’m not sure about anyone else, but I figured I’d share a different sort of leveling build in case you’re bored with hitting Seal of Command and alt tabbing out of WoW for 25 seconds. Prot AoE is all about mitigation and doing damage with Retribution Aura, Blessing of Sanctuary, Holy Shield when you get it, and a shield spike, as well as frequent reckoning procs since you’re being hit so much.Here are a couple screenies of me leveling my swords skill.I’ve been playing with this spec in Tanaris today, and I can take 6 thistleshrubs all level 48-51 and finish the fight at 80% health and mana, which I can’t complain about. Could do better on the ogres there, but some warrior was giving me a hard time.I’ll be happy to answer any questions about this spec to the best of my abilities, just let it be known that leveling like this is actually a lot of fun.
